Liability and transport
A member of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA), Guillaume Loonis Quélen sits on its working groups on nuclear third-party liability and on the transport of radioactive material. He also belongs to the Law and Insurance Section of the French Nuclear Energy Society (SFEN).
Nuclear-powered ships
His work addresses the legal regime of civil nuclear-powered ships, a subject he presented in July 2025 at the Journée Ripert, a study day held by the French Maritime Law Association (AFDM). In April 2025, he spoke on civil maritime nuclear power as part of the MEET 2050 series.
Nuclear energy beyond dry land
More broadly, his research addresses the legal framework for nuclear power sources used at sea and in outer space.
