Loonis Quélen
Law Office
Loonis Quélen Law Office practises maritime law, space law, and civil and commercial law, including in cross-border matters. Its legal support is independent. Guillaume Loonis Quélen is a member of the Paris Bar and is registered on the EU/EFTA roll of lawyers in Geneva.
With offices in Paris and Geneva, the Office handles matters between France and Switzerland. In Geneva, it acts in particular in the context of international cooperation. Its flexible and responsive organisation is suited to technical, international, or sensitive matters. It draws on an in-depth knowledge of the operational realities of the sectors concerned.
The Office offers four services:
- legal advice;
- litigation, before civil and commercial courts;
- legal education and awareness, including training;
- interest representation, in compliance with the professional rules governing lawyers.
In addition, Guillaume Loonis Quélen takes part, in a personal and voluntary capacity, in the work of professional associations. He also carries out research and makes academic contributions.
Areas of Practice
Guillaume Loonis Quélen’s personal and voluntary involvement in professional associations in the maritime and space sectors informs the Office’s monitoring of regulatory and case-law developments.

Legal News
This section gathers conferences, publications, and legal contributions in space law, maritime law, and labour law, from Earth orbit to maritime piracy.
These contributions were presented in cities including Tokyo, New York, London, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Vienna, Abidjan, Montreal, Paris, and Geneva, the latter two being where the Office practises.
The section also includes work carried out in an academic or institutional context prior to Maître Dr. Loonis Quélen’s admission to the Bar in 2022. This work reflects the continuity of his know-how and the relationships established with various academic, technical, or institutional stakeholders. It now supports the cases handled in his practice.
